Walking the isle of wightAlizon's is located within easy reach of many good walks, ranging from short routes to explore the area to walks covering most of the island. Twice a year the The Isle of Wight Walking Festival offers an ideal way to explore the island on guided walks. The Isle of Wight has over 500 miles of well- maintained and signposted footpaths around 30 miles of Heritage Coastline, while more than half of the Island is recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty so you are sure to find a walk that suits you. For walkers wanting to venture further afield easily the southern vectis bus service run frequently from bus stops no more then 2 minutes walk away. Rover and Freedom tickets allow unlimited travel on the islands buses, we are more then happy to buy these on your behalf prior to your arrival if you wish. Obviously we can only provide limited information on this website, please feel free to contact us, we are more then happy to discuss route options for all ages/abilities covering the type of walking you wish to do. Isle of Wight tourism has downloadable maps that may be of interest or we are happy to advise on the day of routes that may be of interest.
